Purple Day was celebrated in The Little Legend Preschool and Nursery on 17th February, 2023 to make the little kids aware about color and how they add beauty to things around us. Colors always fascinate us. It enlivens our environment and is an integral part of our life.
Tiny tots were beautifully dressed in Purple. It was a special and colorful day for the little ones. Children were given a thorough understanding about purple color through fun filled activities. Children took part with great enthusiasm in art and craft activities related to purple color, thus reinforcing the concept of the color. They sang rhymes and songs based on purple color. The teachers guided the little ones to display their creativity. It turned out to be a remarkable day filled with fun and enthusiasm. The little ones made purple paper flowers and butterflies through cut and paste activity. They got engaged in finger printing, crushing and sticking, collage work, coloring etc. The activities helped in exercising their gross motor and artistic skills, recognizing color cues through touch and feel. It was a pleasant and lovely day for these tiny tots.
