Every year 14 November is celebrated as children’s day to pay tribute to our former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for his contribution to building the nation. He was fondly called Chacha Nehru and was very popular amongst the children.
To make this day a memorable for our little ones, The Little Legend Nursery and Pre-school celebrated Children’s day on November 14th, 2022 in the school premises. The day focused on children and their enjoyment. The celebrations began with the Morning Prayer followed by variety of fun filled activities and games planned by the teachers for their children. Ms. Jesna’s magic show was a splendid experience for the children. Our little friends were enthralled by the dance performance by Ms. Shamly and Ms. Jesna. Further, we had a cake cutting ceremony for the children.
We had arranged a metro ride also for our tiny tots. Educational ride in a metro train gave them an experience of the ride and made them understand the features of the train. The ride was from Petta metro station to Kadavanthra metro station and back. Educational trips are a platform for students to bond, not only with their peers but also with the teachers and adults who accompany them in a new environment. Such trips help them to open up, socialize and get to know each other better outside the classroom. The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day.
